Skeptical about magnetic therapy
LEARN HOW MAGNETS HELPED ONE SKEPTIC ACHIEVE PAIN RELIEF FROM SEVERE BACK PAIN

Morris Tischler, inventor of the first solid-state pacemaker, was initially skeptical of magnetic health therapy until he used it for himself and received pain relief! Here is his amazing story:

Morris Tischler's credentials speak for itself. He is a teacher, research scientist, writer, inventor, and educational consultant. His research work in the medical field has led to new developments in medical technology. He developed the first solid-state pacemaker, which is on display at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C.  He holds nine patents, which cover his research in education and medical technology. As a curriculum consultant, he has served in over 40 countries. Meanwhile, he has presented lectures in more than 92 countries. He is the 2003 recipient of the Armstrong Award, the highest honor bestowed by the Radio Club of America.

Morris Tischler's first encounter with magnetic health therapy:

Scheduled to lecture at various seminars throughout South Africa, Morris Tischler had been experiencing severe back pain for over a month as he explained “a pinched nerve in my back was radiating pain down my right leg and into the ankle.” In fact, the pain was so excruciating that Tischler had given serious consideration to cancelling his seminars. He eventually decided to keep his schedule and made the transcontinental trip from Baltimore, Maryland to South Africa.

It was only with the use of a cane that Morris Tischler was able to move about as he lectured throughout the different cities in South Africa. During the presentations, he managed to make it through mostly by sitting down or holding on to a chair for support while standing. This trip was taking on toll on Tischler's health. While in Johannesburg, he could no longer bear the pain in his back and leg. He eventually agreed to see a therapist who used pain relief magnets for his back pain. Tischler remarked “I thought, what do I have to lose? The Ibuprofen and other medications I was consuming were not alleviating the pain. Why not try some other approach?”

Tischler explained how the pain relief magnets were placed over the areas he was experiencing back pain and leg pain. In all, he believed the therapist used a total of 8 or 9 magnets to cover the injured areas. No other treatment or therapy was done for his pain. Tischler stated:
Being an engineer and inventor, I was indeed very skeptical about the treatment.”

The next morning, to his surprise, Tischler was able to move around without having to hold on to the walls or furniture for support. He noticed a significant reduction in pain that had persisted for over 6 weeks. That day, Tischler was able to lecture and walk around the city without using his cane. In the days that followed, he no longer experienced pain in his leg. He also explained that although the pain in his back never completely went away, his back pain was greatly diminished. He stated: “My back had been in pain for the last 58 years, so I didn’t expect it to disappear completely.”

Tischler was so impressed with how magnets had helped alleviate his pain that upon returning home to Baltimore, he read all the books on magnetic therapy that he could find. Tischler set out to research and investigate how magnetic fields produced from magnets could be beneficial to the human body. Until then, he knew that magnets were used in electronic devices such as tape recorders, loudspeakers and military radar among others. In all his years of being an electronic engineer and working in the medical technology field, Tischler had no idea that magnets could have beneficial effects as he stated: “Nowhere had I learned that magnets could affect the human body – but they do.”

It was because of his own experience with magnets that Tischler is now a supporter of magnetic health therapy as a natural pain remedy. Once a skeptic, he is now a proponent for magnetic therapy.
