Scientific Evidence Support Health Benefits of Magnetic Therapy

Scientific research proves health benefits of magnet therapy
Despite the growing evidence supporting the use of magnets for pain relief, there are still a number of medical doctors and skeptics who disregard magnetic health therapy. They believe the use of magnets is unjustified for treating pain since there is a "lack of scientific evidence" that shows the efficacy of magnets.

THESE COMMENTS ARE SIMPLY NOT TRUE!

In fact, there are well over 500 published medical and scientific literature documenting the effects of permanent magnets on human health.

In a review published in The Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine, researchers concluded that "The weight of evidence from published, well-conducted controlled trials suggest that static magnetic fields are able to induce analgesia."  In addition, a review of the studies revealed that "73% of the better quality studies demonstrated a positive effect of static magnets in achieving analgesia across a broad range of different types of pain (neuropathic, inflammatory, musculoskeletal, fibromyalgic, rheumatic and post-surgical."

Another study, conducted by Dr. Marko Markov, involving magnets in plastic and cosmetic surgery demonstrated that permanent magnets had a beneficial effect on post-surgical wounds. When the magnets were placed over the wounds after surgery, within 24 hours it was noted that pain, swelling and discoloration were reduced by 31-42%.

Other research studies have demonstrated that magnetic fields may influence changes at the cell membrane, the cellular level and sub cellular levels.

The benefit of using therapy magnets is that they have a proven track record for safety. Studies have shown magnets to be clinically safe and since it is a non-invasive approach to establishing pain relief, magnets make a great choice for those individuals experiencing chronic pain among other conditions.
